Joseph Vince, a retired ATF agent, agrees [that hollowpoing bullets are more lethal].
"It's not something that you would need for home protection, because what you are trying to do is eliminate an immediate threat," Vince says. "The idea of killing is what this ammunition portrays to me."
Idiot. That's who we have working at the ATF: People who's job it is to oversee and regulate firearms, and they have no fucking idea what they're talking about.
Hollowpoint ammunition is designed for rapid incapacitation of the target... It gives you the “idea of killing?“ So, when you think of shooting somebody, you're thinking about what? Hugs? But then hollowpoint ammo comes along, and makes it all violent and hostile? Are you a retard?
If you're shooting at somebody and you're not prepared to kill them, then you shouldn't be shooting at them. If you don't understand that shooting somebody has a strong potential to be fatal for them then you probably shouldn't own or carry a firearm, unless you intened to use it to shoot yourself in your sad, broken little brain.
If you don't have clarity on all of that that, then you shouldn't be an employee of the ATF.
