When liberals boycott things, its patriotism and concern for their nation.
When conservatives boycott something, it's a dirty trick, it's censorship, and "media consolidation."
It's really amazing to watch Matthews direct these women, lead them along, try to get them to say things about how censored and oppressed they are, how scary it is that conservatives can be “dog-trained” into not liking the Dixie Chicks...
So, if a country music group comes out and badmouths the President, it's a total surprise and demonstration of “dog-training” that country music fans would be put off and take steps to see that band boycotted for their behavior. Yeah, wow. It takes a ton of “training“ to get country music fans to dislike somebody who takes cheap shots ant the President.
Meanwhile, if the left, via “seeing the truth,” comes to hate Halliburton (for example), that's just admirable grassroots organization of patriotic Americans who are standing up for the country.
What is wrong with Chris Matthews? What is wrong with the Dixie Chicks? How are they going to have a leftist circle jerk/diddle, have an “interview” in which Matthews just feeds them arguments and more than agrees with them, actually tries to upsell their victimhood and outrage... How are they going to do that and then complain about “media consolidation?” To me, it looks like the only media consolidation is music entertainment media consolidation with TV news media, to produce a liberal product with liberal double standards.
