The Golden Globes are the awards passed out by the Hollywood Foreign Press, which combines three sources of liberalism into one spherical mass.  So, how is the scorecard?  There are 13 globes handed out.  By my count, 8 of the 13 films are “liberal.”

Brokeback Mountain:  A movie about gay cowboys is basically the symbol of modern American liberalism.  It doesn't get any clearer than that.
Transamerica:  “A pre-op transsexual goes on a cross-country road trip with the teenage hustler son he never knew he had.”  Yeah.  A good effort at being the symbol of modern American liberalism, but you can't beat gay cowboys.  Sorry.
The Constant Gardener:  “The big pharmeceuticals are right up there with the arms dealers.”  Yup.  Anti-corporate equals liberalism.
Syriana:  George Clooney whines about big oil.  Almost as liberal as gay cowboys, but not as metaphorical.
Paradise Now:  A story that puts a human face on Palestinian suicide bombers.  Liberal?  Yes.  Anything that is so clearly designed to piss off Paul Wolfowitz has to be considered liberal.

Yeah, that's 8 out of 13, for a stunning 61% liberal agenda items.  Impressive.

Liberals need to understand how they look to the rest of us.  Imagine if we had the American Patriot Movie Awards Of FreedomJustice.  You'd already think that was ridiculous.  Then, we gave 8 of 13 awards to The Passion of the Christ, and some other flagrantly partisan crap, which I'll make up.

Death and Rebirth:  A young gay man experiences a series of abusive and emotionally damaging homosexual relationships, descends into heroin addiction and male prostitution.  He ends up with hepatitis, but is rescued by a compassionate church pastor, who leads him to God, and ultimately to salvation, and to a new, rewarding ChristLife©.
Transamerica:  A movie about NASCAR drivers touring America, and their adoring fans.  Follows several drivers, one of whom gives up his career to be a soldier in Iraq, as well as several fans, who are honest, patriotic and admirable Americans.
The Quest For The Cure:  A story about a research chemist whose wife dies of ovarian cancer, and of the chemist's tireless quest to cure the disease that took his love from him.  Thanks to a benevolent corporate sponsor, he is successful in his development of a vaccine, which gives him closure with his wife, and saves countless women around the world.  George Bush makes a cameo, fast roping from a helicopter to rescue an African baby from being raped by Barney Frank.
For The Children:  Follows the story of heroic abortion clinic bomber Eric Rudolph, capturing his compassion for the unborn, the evil of the thoughtless baby-killing abortion doctors, and America's heartbreak when a true patriot is railroaded into a plea deal by a corrupt liberal court system.

Feel the love.
