I should preface this by admitting that I routinely get completely housed by women when I play inline hockey, because they're way better at hockey than me, but look at the headline: “High school team beats U.S. women's team.” Yeah, that's sad. And this was a non-checking game. If I was allowed to check the women/girls who I play inline against, I'd be a lot better off, since I outweigh them all by at least 75%.
The fact remains: Equal, but not the same.
