Do you support capital punishment?
1) Yes: It's the proper justice to be exacted against convicted killers
2) No: It's a barbaric retribution that has no deterrent effect
Now, Hussain supports both, but as it turns out, America does not. At this moment 137,980 have been cast, and 74% of them are “Yes.“ So, now I'm really, REALLY confused, America. I was under the impression that we didn't support capital punishment. How is this even a debate? We barely execute anybody, and when we do, we never get it wrong. Now I find out that a great majority of Americans support it.
Why is this called a debate? Why isn't it called “this thing we do that a tiny number of whackos screech about?”
