It's been about 19 days since I got my wisdom teeth out, and things are pretty good. At this point, what I'm dealing with are four holes in my head, which are basically painless, but are very strange, and somewhat gross. I have to squeege them out with a syringe waterpik sort of thing, and I really have no fucking idea what I'm doing with it, where the holes are exactly, if I'm getting any water in them, etc.
While the holes themselves are pretty much painless, they are sorta large inside, and get filled with disgusting crap. I can find the holes with a finger, and they feel basically like one would expect, holes in my jaw with mouth meat trying to grow in and fill them up, but sorta not doing it. The syringe thing is not my finger, so I can't really feel where it's going. I just sorta stick it back there, and hope it's hitting something. The end result, is that it's not hitting anything, and then eventually I just ram it fully into the hole, and it comes back out all sludgey with food slime, and it tastes like somebody just took a shit in my mouth. While this is fairly disgusting, it's also pretty good, since it means I've successfully disloged whatever is in my head holes, and then I can hose it out nice and clean. It actually feels nice and minty refreshed when I finally pull it off, not at all painful, though I assume I'm basically hosing off exposed bone inside the hole.
It took about two weeks exactly, maybe a bit over, before I was officially free of discomfort at all times. Even a few days ago, there was some discomfort while eating, and some aching from time to time. So, things look good. I just hope the holes heal over soon, so I can stop washing food poop compost into my mouth once or twice a day.
