Hard to believe it, but it's been a little over a year since the Assault Weapons Ban expired, September 13th, 2004. Needless to say, we've all be adjusting to the wartorn wasteland the nation became, mere seconds after the expiration The constant rattle of automatic gunfire has become as familliar as the screams of the dying, and while my nightmares are getting worse, I find that the moonshine we've been distilling in the fallout shelter has eased the pain.
Or, you know, maybe not. Maybe nothing at all has changed, and every passing day exposes the Assault Weapons Ban for the useless piece of crap it was.

Obviously, if there had been an upsurge in gun violence, the MSM would be all over it. There hasn't, and so, we let this failure of liberalism fade away quietly, and unremarked. What a great President you were, Bill Clinton. So fruitlessly did you demean the significance of the 2nd Amendment and the Bill of Rights. Glory be to thee, sir.
