This woman is awesome. She's a real litmus test for legitimacy. If you want to know if somebody is a lunatic leftist freak, just say “did you hear about that Italian hostage woman?” If their face gets serious, you're talking to an idiot leftist. If they laugh, then they're still at least slightly sane. It's just spectacular how blatant her agenda is, and how no set of circumstances are enough for her to change that agenda, or even to question it.
First off, this woman works for a Communist newspaper. That's awesome. Then she had this to say: “The fact that the Americans don’t want negotiations to free the hostages is known. The fact that they do everything to prevent the adoption of this practice to save the lives of people held hostages, everybody knows that. So I don’t see why I should rule out that I could have been the target.”
How fucking retarded are you, lady? Why don't Americans want people negotiating with terrorist hostage takers? Cause if you give them a million dollars for a hostage, which you did, that's a million dollars worth of dead Iraqi civilians and American troops. That's your contribution to the wellbeing of the Iraqi people. You saw to it that people who seek to murder them just got $1 million. You're a stupid, dangerous woman. To you, Americans just hate hostages. Even after the hostages are released, Americans want to shoot them. How does that make any fucking sense at all, lady? We don't want money flowing to terrorists. We could care less about your dumb ass. We're not gonna pay to save it, we're not gonna waste the ammo shooting you.
Know how you can rule out the possibility that you were a target? You're still alive. If the soldiers that shot up your car really knew who you were, they could have pulled you out, shot you dead, and burned the bodies. What happened to you? Who knows. Terrorists got ya. But no, that's not what happened. Instead, you got a real hero killed, you gave a bunch of money to terrorists, and you accomplished nothing. The degree of delusion required is fucking phenomenal. Somehow this random checkpoint of American soldiers knew all about your secret mission to bring millions of dollars to terrorists, knew the car you'd be in, knew the route it'd take, and was there waiting to shoot you. And then they didn't kill you, they just wounded you. Really? Does that really make sense in your world, lady? Is “America bad” really the answer to all your problems?
It's ok, though. We're bigger and better than you, lady. So you gave the terrorists a bunch of cash. We'll get through it, and so will the Iraqi people. So you got a brave Italian killed for your dumb ass. Putting his life second to the lives of those who don't deserve it is what made him a hero. You go ahead and keep sucking the cock off of ex-Ba'athists, despite the fact that they're some of the worst people on the planet, and every day they murder more innocent Iraqis. They're “freedom fighters,” right? Right.
