So, for about a week now I've been getting feedback on my blog that's clearly some sort of spam robot, blasting blogs with a bunch of links for the sort of shit that spam robots always blast you with. Online casinos, larger penis, smaller gut, whatever else. It's not clear to me if this method of harassment actually works, or if the people behind it just think it does, but god DAMN is it annoying. I get about five messages a day, a copy to my email. Every time I have to delete them all, and every time, I'm reminded just how shitty humankind is. Please. Stop spamming my blog with your fucking bullshit. I'm not going to click on your links. I can't imagine that anybody is going to click on your links. It's like mugging somebody in a dark alley, just to scream “TRY ONLINE TEXAS HOLD 'EM” in their face. They won't appreciate it, and they certainly won't view Texas Hold 'Em favorably anymore. If anybody is clicking on your links, it's probably to gather information for a class action lawsuit. But such is the nature of sales, I guess. Salespeople get so used to scattergunning, so used to trying to sway people who really just hate them and wish they'd go away, they can't even see the line of common decency any more.
