I got a call back from Ed Carroll about my car. On one hand, it sounds like a lot more parts were damaged than I thought, but on the other it's not much more expensive than I'd expected. They quoted me $1800, which is right in the $1500-$2000 range I expected. I suppose a normal, sane person would think that to be a lot of money, but I don't even care. I want my car back, and they said it could be ready by the weekend, which is pretty good, IMO. I had certainly hoped for more $1500 than $2000, but $1800 is doable. I also won't be surprised if it comes down a bit, since that's what happened with the bodywork I had done when drunk retards keyed my car.
Sooooo, don't run your German car into a curb. I guess that mostly just applies to Ian and Hussain, since a BRT, BWT, MSWHT (Medium Sized White Hybrid Truck) would just bounce over the curb and laugh at it.
