I really liked Ocean's 11, so I was hoping for big things from this one. All in all, I wasn't disappointed. It was a fun movie, with lots of twists and turns, funny diologue, etc. It shifted some from the original, in that it had a greater emphasis on humor, banter between characters, etc. In this respect it was stronger. I was disappointed that there were fewer scenes between the bickering brothers, but there was some good stuff with other characters... The whole heist aspect of Ocean's 12 was a bit weaker than Ocean's 11. In the first film there was a lot of detail put into how it was to be done, it was all shown in clear sequence, the plot twists were clear and clever. In the new film, this was much less present, the heists were more vague and less of a focus, and the twists more confusing and more dependant on unseen events.
All in all a good film, not quite as good as the original, but still enjoyable and woth watching.
