Apparently Brett and Jeff got arrested. This is very odd.
First, the backstory is that these guys ride motorcycles, and I used to see them at Starry Night, a coffee shop in Old Town Fort Collins. Cameron used to ride with them a lot, and was pretty good acquaintences with them. Brett used to talk about bounty hunting all the time, and definitely seemed to have the personality for the job.
So anway, they look kinda fucked. Local law enforcement saw fit to book them, take mug shots, etc., so one assumes that they're pretty convinced that Brett and Jeff did something wrong. Brett had always said he doesn't carry a gun on the job, so the “carry without permit” part of the charges is a bit odd. Furthermore, it's hard to imagine that they didn't have concealed carry permits in the first place. I'm not even a bounty hunter, and I have a CCW.
What a strange world.
