I have grass now, it's pretty nice, although it's still a bit of a tiled pattern of sod slabs... However Theisen says that one of the lines they have buried under the ground has a “nick in it” and as a result it needs to be dug up, replaced and reburied. Apparently Theisen's Mexicans are some serious marksmen when it comes to driving fabric spikes through buried cables. The installer said it was a “manufacturer's defect” that caused the problems, but I tend to think that it's a spike driven through the line.
Oh well. At least there's grass, and water comes out of the sprinkler heads.
